I am a Florida native. South Florida is in my blood. Tampa Bay has been my family’s chosen home for seven years now. For about six of those seven years I’ve been anxiously awaiting the “New Newland Community’” to arrive. I live in the Newland Community of MiraBay. I love the vision, implementation, and continued zeal in which Newland Communities brings to its home owners, the community and to the surrounding area. Waterset, the newest vision realized by Newland, is set to open on October 6, 2012. Builders such as Homes by WestBay, David Weekley, Ashton Woods, and Cardel already have models built and new homes under contract to be built.
As a resident REALTOR of the South Shore community, I am thrilled that this community is opening for several reasons. First, it will give new home buyers more options. Second, it will bring inventory to our market place, we need it!. And lastly, this community opening will benefit the entire area by giving it the push it needs to open it’s doors to more commerce which will lead to a better economy. Plus, I really want new Thai and Italian restaurants to open here locally, and the more people that move in, the more business owners will come down our way!
